RP 3 - Biomarkers of cancers and cancer diagnostics
An investment in cancer research is an investment in the future!
Mission: To employ molecular profiling of gastrointestinal cancers to elucidate variations in therapeutic response, patient survival, and cancer susceptibility.
Vision: To improve patient outcomes by turning advanced molecular research into tools for early detection, prognosis, and personalized treatment.
A central focus of our research is gastrointestinal cancers, with an emphasis on identifying biomarkers for early detection, prognostic stratification, and prediction of treatment response. Through close collaboration with clinicians, we access a wide range of patient-derived biological materials, including tumor biopsies and body fluids, which we analyze using advanced technologies such as multi-omics approaches. This integrative, technology-driven strategy has the potential to translate molecular insights into meaningful advances in precision oncology.
