The Czech part of the academic programme will be fully provided by scientists from the National Institute of Cancer Research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The 4EU+ Alliance brings together eight renowned European universities \u2013 Charles University,\u00a0<\/span>Universit\u00e4t Heidelberg\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-GB\">(Germany),\u00a0<\/span>Sorbonne Universit\u00e9\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-GB\">(France),\u00a0<\/span>Uniwersytet Warszawski<span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0(Poland),\u00a0<\/span>Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Milano\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-GB\">(Italy), K\u00f8benhavns Universitet (Denmark), Universit\u00e9 Paris-Panth\u00e9on-Assas (France) and Universit\u00e9 de Gen\u00e8ve (Switzerland) \u2013 and aims, among other things, to improve the quality of mutual cooperation in teaching, education and research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u2018The aim of our international summer school, which will be held for the third time this year, is to provide undergraduate students with an overview of the various components of cancer research, with an emphasis on its complexity and multidisciplinarity, but also on its financing, without which further progress in biomedicine would not be possible,\u2019 says NICR Director Aleksi \u0160edo, who is also one of the three co-organisers, adding: \u2018For many of the invited students, this may be their first opportunity to present their own research activities at an international forum, discuss with leading experts, exchange experiences with peers from other countries and start building their own network of contacts.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">More detailed information about the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/4euplus-againstcancer.icm.edu.pl\/programme-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/4euplus-againstcancer.icm.edu.pl\/programme-2025\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1747995274458000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0VzLEWeegP5XCPjr4EY_ZP\">4EU+ Against Cancer Summer School<\/a>, which will take place on 7\u20139 July 2025 at the Sorbonne University in Paris, can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuvr.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Flyer-4EU-Against-Cancer-SUMMER-SCHOOL.pdf\">here<\/a>. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Stopka, Karel Smetana, Petr Bu\u0161ek, Daniel Smr\u017e, Tom\u00e1\u0161 Kazda and Ivan Melez\u00ednek will give lectures on behalf of the NICR.
